This is our UV LED curing oven. It utilizes 22 UV LEDs (405nm) to cure UV-curing adhesives without heating up the samples too much as with your standard Hg UV lamp. This comes in very handy when dealing with plastic substrates. It is controlled by a microcontroller(pic16f877a) and has an LCD readout of the current status, time set and remaining time depending on the state of opereration. The microcontroller triggers 6 adjustable voltage regulators calibrated to uniformly drive LEDs (350mA through each).
In addition to UV curing it has been used for primitive yet effective contact lithography requiring exposures of less than a second for AZ5214E photoresist.
